Halloween in London!!
Halloween is upon us again. Where did the year go? London is, as usual, buzzy with little children and grown-ups in fancy dress costumes. It used to be a celebration of the dead, gods (Romans), etc. Just like Christmas, Halloween has evolved to become another pagan celebration. It is also another excuse for charity events, but I will talk about that in another entry soon.
Dressing up is big in this city. Having a fancy dress business must be quite profitable here – just party mood is required! Did you dress up over the weekend? The imagination goes further beyond the usual witches and pumpkins. I read today that the most sought items in Google were prima ballerina and – get ready for this – angry birds! It really surprises me, because everything is dark – ish. You can definitely ask Alice Cooper, who did his freak show last year.
What are your fave fancy dresses? Do not pay attention to this outrageous Halloween list! Here are the best ones that I saw on Saturday´s party:
- Witch
- Vampire
- Gothic Smurf
- Bride corpse
- Pumpkin head Jason
- Dead pirate
